Care Instructions

INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE

All knives leaving our workshop are extremely sharp, so you have to treated with due care. 

Make sure when you open the knife, the spine of the knife is pressing against the palm of your hand and the blade is on the opposite side with nothing in front of it. 

Never touch the cutting edge with fingers or other bodyparts. 

Make sure the knife is in the closed/locked position when carrying or transporting the knife.

MAINTENANCE

TIGHTEN: Tighten screws as needed. Ensure that the wrench is seated properly to avoid stripping the screws.

SHARPEN: Sharpen the convex blade edge at 18º-20º using ceramic stones, professional systems, leather strops, or similar.

CLEAN: Wipe the blade clean with a soft cloth, rinse it with fresh warm water after contact with a corrosive medium such as blood or salt, and allow it to dry completely. Should the action before sticky, disassemble the knife, wipe each part clean, then re-lubricate the pivot with a small drop of Fluorinated Grease and coat the blade with high quality gun oil or WD-40.

STORE

Before storing it, always clean your knife thoroughly and make sure it is completely dry, store in a dry place with the provided pouch.
